Study these articles and you will be in a much better position (no pun intended) to market your site through the search engines and create online success. I must say that some of the content on some of these sites, may be questionable and may implore tactics I would not use, but overall, these people really know what they are talking about.

1. SEO 101 - 10 On-site Optimization Techniques
The Search Commander, Scott Hendison, masterfully covers the basics of on-site optimization in an easy to read format. If you want more from the search commander, check out his latest SEO video review which are usually jammed packed with tidbits of juicy search engine morsels.

2. Blue Hat SEO - Increase Click Through Rate
Its easy to forget the “big picture” of what we are trying to accomplish in the search engines, which is traffic. One way to increase traffic is with title tags and this article discusses an interesting technique I have used from time to time that has been effective in increasing a sites CTR.

3. Think Outside The Link
We go back to Scott Hendison on this one because this is just a great article. It is all about links and the best way to get them. This is an absolute must read for every SEO Consultant, site owner and webmaster.

4. Matt Cutts Discusses Link Buying
Since Matt Cutts is Google’s personal spam busting bot, I think its a good idea to understand what he thinks about SEO and selling/buying links.  As Matt has said, its your website and you can do anything you want with it including buying or selling links, but sometimes there can be a consequence for those actions from Google.  Usually the ones hit the hardest are the sites selling links.

5. Theming Your Website With Silos
Bradley Leese discusses content arrangement that are referred to as silos, themes, or pyramids. I have seen very good success with this technique and I encourage you to give it a try.

6. Keyword Selection From Aaron Wall
This article relates some of the ways the Aaron selects keywords. It is very insightful and contains a ton of good tips.   He lists a few places you would not normally look for keywords.

7. Keyword Variations On Multiple Pages
SEO takes time, lots of time. It is important that you manage your time well. This article discusses when it is appropriate to create a separate page to target a keyword variation and when it is not.

8. Love May Be A Battlefield - But Not Compared To SEO
SEO tends to be extremely competitive and you may be facing an uphill battle with professional SEO’s who will do anything to get their (or their clients’) site ranked. You have to be prepared.

9. Social Marketing With Twitter - An Almost Guide
This very recent article made the list because it is packed full of good information on how to use twitter. There are very few good resources out there on the subject and this is one of them.

10. The Seven Spirits Of God - His Insight Into Business, Problem Solving and Strategy
This article is an intro into understanding how Jesus makes Himself available to business (all) people. After all, technology is based upon concepts he created, like physics and math. There is no greater resource to something, than its actual creator.

    Scott, thanks for pointing that out to me! I did not realize this was happening, I am using WP SEO Master and it automatically put the no-follow tags into all post links. I have resolved that issue, so enjoy the link juice ;)
