I must say that some of the content on some of these sites, may be questionable and may implore tactics I would not use, but overall, these people really know what they are talking about.

Since Matt Cutts is Google’s personal spam busting bot, I think its a good idea to understand what he thinks about SEO and selling/buying links. As Matt has said, its your website and you can do anything you want with it including buying or selling links, but sometimes there can be a consequence for those actions from Google. Usually the ones hit the hardest are the sites selling links.
